Cardinals Pillow

This is my sisters birthday present, a cardinals paper pieced pillow.  Its a Mary Herschleb Designs pattern that I adapted in top a pillow that measures 16"X16" 

 

I love paper piecing.

 

 



Mats and Tara's Quilt

 

This is the quilt I made my sister and brother-in-law for Christmas 2012. I followed instructions from Better Homes and Garden Easy Quilt Projects Book, starting on page 11.   I choose fabrics in yellow and gray to match my sister's living room.  The back is a solid light grey with the binding a darker gray.  It's finished measurements are 72"X88" and each block in 8". 

 

I really enjoyed sewing this quilt.  Here are a few pictures from the sewing process:
