WITCH PIECING

I love this paper piecing witch pattern by https://artisania.wordpress.com/2008/10/10/free-witch-pattern/.  I think it turned out so cute, a good addition to my Halloween decorations.

T-Shirt Pillow

Latest project, a cute decorative pillow made from an old t-shirt.  I love making these pillows.  I have made a few at this point.  Just takes an old vacation souvenir, concert t-shirt , or even a missing loved ones favorite shirt. Next time I make one I'll show you the process step by step.

Luggage Tags

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”― Mark Twain

Wherever the winds take you go in style!!!  One of my newest projects are these homemade luggage tags. Here is the link to the pattern http://www.deliciousreads.com/2015/03/diy-make-your-own-luggage-tags-link-to.html?m=1 This was my first project using clear vinyl.  I was nervous about it at first but had no trouble.  Just make sure you use a foot on the sew machine for vinyl so there is no sticking and have a nice sharp needle.  I love they way they turned out, I have made several as gifts.

Coin Purse

A beautiful day spent sewing. Today's project was a coin purse. I found the pattern in a magazine titled 101 Patchwork Projects and Quilts. I found it a very easy project that any beginner could do. I adapted the project slightly to add a metal clip. I will be using this new coin purse to hold my pool pass on to my bag for water aerobics.

John and Julia's Dinning Room Curtains

Here are the steps I took to sew John and Julia's Dinning Room Curtains:

 1. Work out pattern (had some help from Jane Austen)

 2. Cut and hemming sides of panels.

3.  Sew and adding tabs evenly along top.

4.  Hang and hem bottom.

5. Enjoy!!!
