PUMPKIN PILLOW

 

I made this pumpkin pillow by first making a pattern on graph paper.  I enjoyed working out the pattern and seeing it come to completion.  I really like the way it turned out, super cute.

 

 

 

 

 

 

FALL SCRAPPY TABLERUNNER

Just a quick fall decoration made from some scraps.  I am hosting my Bunco group this month at my home and wanted at be a little more festive. 

PLACEMAT STEP BY STEP

Make a cute placemat like the above in 12 easy steps.

Step 1- Cut out 3 inch squares

Step 2- Sew all squares together in pairs

Step 3- Sew pairs together

Step 4- Continue sewing together until it reaches the desired size.

Step 5- Iron flat

Step 6- Laying the pieced top and bottom together, right sides facing and a layer of batting on top

Step 7- Sew around edges leaving a 3 inch space for turning

Step 8- Trim corners

Step 9- Turn

Step 10- Iron flat

Step 11- Top stitch the edge all the way around closing up the opening

Sep 12- This is the most important step...ENJOY IT!!!

I love this paper piecing witch pattern by https://artisania.wordpress.com/2008/10/10/free-witch-pattern/.  I think it turned out so cute, a good addition to my Halloween decorations.

T-Shirt Pillow

Latest project, a cute decorative pillow made from an old t-shirt.  I love making these pillows.  I have made a few at this point.  Just takes an old vacation souvenir, concert t-shirt , or even a missing loved ones favorite shirt. Next time I make one I'll show you the process step by step.
