Brecken and Lathan's Pillows
Another Christmas present homemade by me. These floor pillows were made for my twin nephews Brecken and Lathan. The pillow have a American military theme. To make them a little bit more special they both have US Marine Corp patches in the upper left corners. My brother, Bob, the twins father was in the Marine Corp years ago and sent me a group of patches as a birthday present while he was away. I have used them in varies projects over the years but these are my last patches. I think they turned out really good I was very proud of them.

Crocheted Mushroom
I spend the day resting on the couch with a cold. While there I thought I would try a new crochet pattern. I thought I would show everyone as I am very proud of it. I am sort of a newbie at crocheting, this is the first time I have followed a pattern all by myself. Usually I have to go over to my mother's and get her help in translating the pattern. I did it all my myself today and it turned out really cute, I love it.
Here is that pattern I used to make this crocheted mushroom. http://g0anna.blogspot.com/2010/09/patron-seta-amigurumi.html

I like making pillows and pillow covers. These were pretty easy I found a free pattern online for paper piecing the letters and just sewn them together. I hope they liked them I made Abbie's pink and flowers, and I made Thomas' green and black with camo print on the back.

Homemade Purses
Ok, all the presents have been opened so now I can post some of my Christmas present projects. I made two purse this year, the grey for my sister and the red one for my niece.
The grey was made from Pink Chalk Studio pattern no104, Mail Sack. I pieced the bottom half together with varies yellow and grey fabrics. Inside is an open pocket and a zippered pocket. Its a cross-body bag and the pattern come in two sizes. This is the smaller of the two sizes.
The red purse was made from a Pinterest tutorial. Here is the link if you would like it http://imaginegnats.com/madeleine-tutorial/. This bag also has an inside zipper but this one has a snap closure as well.

Colored Pencil Roll
Another Christmas present done, I hope my aunt will like her adult coloring book and homemade colored pencil roll. I modified a crayon holder to make it big enough to hold colored pencils. Here is a great and easy tutorial if you would like to try and make one.
